Greene County Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs

The Club is a member and supporter of the Federation.  Issues concerning sportsmen and gun owners are discussed, voted on and presented to the New York State Conservation Council, who in turn proposes legislation or changes to existing laws in accordance with the majority of sportsmen in the state.  The Federation is also involved in many programs benefiting local sportsmen, such as the Pheasant stocking program, Trout stocking program and stream improvement, Youth Ice Fishing Derby, Hunter Safety Courses, etc.  Meetings are on the 3rd Thursday of every month at the County building at Angelo Canna Park in Cairo.
