It has been brought to our attention that someone is putting rocks on the rifle range. This is causing a lot of problems for the lawn mowing crew, and also creates a safety issue for shooters.
It is dangerous and a violation of Range Rules to shoot at or leave hard objects on the range. DON’T DO IT.
Anyone found to be doing this will lose their membership.
Please note that there is a change to the General Range Rules as follows:
Old rule: “THERE WILL BE NO SHOOTING OR HANDILING OF HANDGUNS BY PERSONS WHO DO NOT POSSESS A NEW YORK STATE PISTOL LICENSE”
New rule: “POSSESSION OR USE OF HANDGUNS ON CLUB PROPERTY MUST CONFORM TO NEW YORK LAW”
The 300 yard range is only open for scheduled events.
THE 300 YARD RANGE IS NOT AVAILABLE UNLESS IT IS A SCHEDULED EVENT!
A range officer must be present for all shooting from the 300 yard firing point and specific safety procedures must be followed.
Any unauthorized use of the 300 yard range will result in immediate and permanent revocation of membership.
